How to make my family's quick dominican hot chocolate

Ingredients

Lets start by taking a pot and setting it over medium heat. Add the milk.

Add your choice of sweetened hot chocolate mix. In my case it's nestle quik

Now let's take the egg and add the red wine into it

Whisk it vigorously

To the hot chocolate that is in the stovetop add the salt

The sugar. Add more if it's not sweet enough

Now it's time to serve yourself a nice big cup of my family's adult version of hot chocolate spiked with red wine. Yum

This hot Chocolate is creamy and so yummy. Don't worry you will not get drunk. 😉 I hope you get a chance to try it

Every Dominican family has it's own version of ponche. This is what we call it. Some put in coffee & real chocolate pieces, others beat the egg whites separate from the yolk. All versions are yummy
